HTC wakes up.
Pocket-lint interviews Kouji Kodera: Sense UI got too complicated.
“From the original Sense up to Sense 3.5 we added too many things. The original concept was that it had to be simple and it had to be easy to use and we had that philosophy, but over time it got cluttered”
If you’ve ever used a Sense 1.0 device, you know it’s incredibly dull. Having used every version from 1.0 to 3.5, I agree that it got messy near the end. At the same time, there were some nice additions in 3.0 that I’m sure will be found in 4.0.
It’s good to see HTC realize they needed to improve both their software and hardware in 2012. I have high hopes.
